This electric-fired auroch mug is completely hand-made with a mid-range stoneware. Hand-thrown on a wheel, two ancient ox-like animals called aurochs are hand-carved on opposite sides and highlighted with colored slips.

This mug is fired in oxidation in an electric kiln. The glazes used are food safe and durable. Although hand-washing is recommended for handmade pottery, this mug can be washed in a dishwasher. I have microwaved all my pottery but always exercise caution when microwaving any pottery.

Dimensions: 4 1/2” high x 4 3/4” wide x 2 3/4” opening.

Holds approximately 12 oz.

Makes a great gift for coffee, tea and other hot beverages. My marks are stamped on the bottom.
