This ceramic flask is completely hand-made with a high-fire stoneware. Thrown, altered and assembled, this flask is fired in a wood-fueled soda kiln. The combination of the flame, ash and soda produces flashing and a glaze of soda in unexpected ways. The glazes used are food safe and durable. Although hand-washing is recommended for handmade pottery, this flask can be washed in a dishwasher. Hand-washing is recommended for an item with this shape to ensure proper cleaning inside.
