This salt-fired, two-handled vase is hand-thrown with a high-fire stoneware. Abstract cave art inspired imagery is hand-drawn around the vase and highlighted with black slip. This vase was fired in a gas-fueled salt kiln. The combination of the flame and salt produces flashing and a glaze of salt in unexpected ways. The glazes used are food safe and durable. Although hand-washing is recommended for handmade pottery, this vase can be washed in a dishwasher.

Dimensions: 8 1/2”h x 6”w x 3 3/4” opening.
Holds approximately 40 oz.

Makes a great unique house gift and large vase for flowers. My marks are stamped on the bottom.

Pro-tip: Everything tastes better in handmade pottery.
