This soda-fired tumbler is completely hand-made with a high-fire stoneware. Hand-thrown on a wheel, abstract, zig-zag petroglyph-like designs are hand-carved into the tumbler and highlighted with colored slips.

This tumbler is fired in a wood-fueled soda kiln. The combination of the flame, ash and soda produces flashing and a glaze of soda in unexpected ways. The glazes used are food safe and durable. Although hand-washing is recommended for handmade pottery, this tumbler can be washed in a dishwasher. I have microwaved all my pottery but always exercise caution when microwaving any pottery.

Dimensions: 4 1/2” high x 3 1/4” wide.

Holds approximately 12 oz.

Makes a nice thoughtful gift. Great for any beverage. My marks are stamped on the bottom.
